ARMS — Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 November 2026

The software

ARMS is open-source software (see the repository license) that runs AI agents on infrastructure you control. The Gmail connector acts on your mailbox only through actions you approve: reads run freely; drafts, sends, label changes, archives, and trashes require your explicit approval in ARMS.

Your responsibilities

Keep your OAuth credentials, vault keys, and database passwords secret. Use a Google account you own. ARMS Gmail with restricted Gmail scopes shows Google's "unverified app" screen unless the app completes Google's verification; by continuing you accept that this is self-hosted software you operate yourself.

No warranty

ARMS is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Mail actions you approve (sends, trashes, label changes) are your actions; review approvals carefully. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any loss arising from use of the software.

Changes

Material changes to these terms will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
